Job Title/Position:
Under the direction of the facility Administrator, the Assisted Living Manager plans, develops, organizes, directs and evaluates the services offered and provided to tenants as well the coordination of preventative and restorative maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant and furnishings including the apartments, grounds, offices and common areas of the Assisted Living Facility. The Assisted Living Manager also monitors, evaluates and develops action plans based on tenant satisfaction, occupancy and financial goals. This individual also supervises, directs and coordinates staff members sharing responsibilities between the care center and the Assisted Living.

Qualification:
High School diploma or equivalent, and completion of post-secondary level course(s) in business and/or marketing; Assisted Living Manager's certification preferred and minimum of 1-2 years experience in human relations/marketing/ business or related field; Licensure or certification as a health care professional or paraprofessional preferred (e.g. C.N.A., C.M.A., LPN, RN, ARNP.) Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, general office skills and basic computer skills.

Supervisor/ team leader positions: This individual must be self-motivated to accomplish assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision and lead team members toward accomplishing common goals.

Recommend immunizations be current in accordance to recommendations by CDC (unless contraindicated due to allergy), or natural immunity acquired by illness with specific disease.  Must pass criminal background and abuse registry checks and be eligible for unrestricted employment.
